What a great way to spend the afternoon!!! Toured the mine and then panned for gold. Staff were EXCEPTIONALLY helpful and friendly, we had an absolute laugh. Definitely recommend!Full review by MidlandsCassy
I realized after I asked my first question that I wasn't specific about what kind of panning we were thinking of doing. We've already decided that we don't have the 4 or 8 hours free to go out to the claim (on this trip), so I really wanted to know if the on site panning in the troughs is worth the time? A:
we only found flakes, but thats not to say you may find more, not sure about gems, your not going to strike it rich
