I would not want to be walking around any area of Brooklyn after 11:00pm but during the morning, day and early evening it is very safe and the area is very busy because of both the gardens and the Brooklyn Museum. Add Prospect Park too this time of year and there are people all over so you should be fine. Check out the nice restaurants down Washington Avenue too. You have some great choices.
Hello, I just had a quick question about tickets/reservations: I recently got a membership pass from a local museum to visit the garden, but I went onto the BBG website and it said that I needed to purchase tickets and make a reservation to visit the garden?
