Short walk through the woods just through the kids play area down the hill to the water and right Or over the bridge and right for a good mile or two walk both ways are very enjoyableFull review by Famalamadigdong

Nice park with an excellent cafe - Wellys Work Place. Staff were really friendly and recommended other places to visit in the area during our stay. Good coffee too!! Thank you.Full review by Christchurch1967

A great park, good parking, really enjoyed the walk, although we did meet someone walking an x bully dog which caused the heart rate to increase, thankfully it was with a responsible owner. Good cafe…Full review by Adventurer812020

Yes you can, although not everywhere. There are also paths through the woods that the off road cyclists use.
