Located amongst Wharfedale’s limestone hills in the Yorkshire Dale National Park, this 5-star restaurant with rooms serves seasonal dishes made using local produce, including Grassington’s own hand-reared, rare breed pork. Full English breakfasts, light meals such as tapas-style dishes, and an a la carte menu are available in the Grassington House award-winning restaurant. Guests can also relax with a drink in the bar and packed lunches can be made on request. Grassington House is within 200 metres of the Dales Way long-distance footpath and scenic walks can be enjoyed in the surrounding countryside. Free private parking is provided and the medieval Skipton Castle can be reached after a 20-minute drive. Each of the 9 rooms has been individually designed with full facilities and amenities, including flat-screen TVs, docking stations, Wi-Fi and tea and coffee. Home-baked goods from the kitchen are also on offer.

Very good! Service, hosting, food - all spot on. Highlights were the suet pudding filled with venison and a choccy dessert to make this chocolate lover go. ‘Wow!’ Beautifully presented too!Full review by A6397JBjamesb
