Can you swim in the Hillsborough River? Looking into purchasing a home on the river and wondering how dangerous it would be to swim it. Would it be nuts?

Sure if you dont mind being lunch for the Aligators . I would not recommend that ....
If your bike has skiis and you get pulled behind a boat possibly, but I would advise a kayak or canoe. The Hillsboro River is a river, so no you can’t bike there.
Considering kayaking Sargeant Park to Morris Brudge to Trout Creek with friends. Due to a bad back, need to get out of kayak a few times during the 7-1/2 mile run. Are there any stop off points along the route?

Sounds like a great canoe trip. Yes. There are a half dozen stopping places along your route. Most are riverside public parks. Rowlett, and Rogers Golf Club. Then Riverside Park. Florida College. Lettuce Lake Park, Trout Creek Park and then you are into Flatwoods Park. Check out the route via google maps. Have a great paddle. Don't forget your camera and bug repellant!
