Beautiful beach full of soft sand and a row of shells where the water crashes. Many little shark teeth were found and a blast was had. Very relaxing area.Full review by 1970DMacK

This beach is lighter sand than at Venice Beach and not as crowded. Farther up the road at Siesta Key the sand is white and this sand is kind of a mix. Not the best if you are looking to walk on the…Full review by christinelM3948FY

No I think too much boat traffic... the best beach for that seems to be Lido beach. We see them there all the time! Really cool!

No docks. You could always moor out off the beach and swim in, I am quite sure. There is a public boat launch across from the public beach. It is a wonderful beach.

You can point out the rental equipment and the two days I was there I didn't notice umbrellas or chairs to rent. Thing about umbrellas, make sure it's not a windy day because no matter how much you spend on a quality umbrella the wind will take it. I purchased all my beach gear at Target during the off season where Target puts these items on clearance. This location is wonderful and super clean. Enjoy. JT
