Lovely, free garden and arboretum on Lake Wakatipu in Queenstown, with walking trails around and through. Some steep paths here and there. Good views of the city on the opposite shore.Full review by Owen Y

Lovely. The formal gardens are not extensive but quite lovely. Don’t miss the enormous Giant Sequoia-it’s humbling. We didn’t have enough time but, if tours exist, I would love to have learned more…Full review by 27lq

Where can a get a map of the Queenstown Gardens?
A:
From memory there was a map sign at the entrance but if you need a paper version you can get them from the tourist information place. Our hotel foyer also had them.

Hi, from what I noticed it is always open and there are lights on the pathway for night walks around the lake. From our accommodation on the opposite side of the lake we noticed people walking at all hours. Lights still on early morning hours as well. Queenstown is lovely with lots to do for all ages. Apartment accommodation is the way to go. Stay clear of convenience stores, prices outrageous. There is a 4 square store in town reasonable or a little further out if you have a car is a Countdown Supermarket same as the Australian Woolworths almost. Have a great holiday. Cheers

Hi, if i am interested in 3 people stay, would 1 bedroom be sufficient? is there 1 room available with a double bed and a single bed? thank you
A:
Sorry. Stayed in a room with only one queen bed, so can't really help. Normally the hotels got a queen and single in a family room which works fine. Enjoy your trip. Queenstown is lovely!!
