Rudník is a municipality and village in Trutnov District in the Hradec Králové Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,000 inhabitants. Rudník is located about 12 kilometres west of Trutnov and 41 km north of Hradec Králové. It lies in the Giant Mountains Foothills. The highest point is the hill Smrčina at 687 m above sea level. The village is situated at the confluence of the streams Luční potok and Bolkovský potok.
