I've never been at weddings in the park (just run), however I've seen several weddings in different gardens, has Italian, Japanese, English etc. and an enclosed area with kitchen, where they make the reception. In the Accessing roads is asphalt, and some places have grass and small stones. Also a out side chapel. A good ideia is ask where will be, and find out at the web site about acces.

Is the park dog friendly?

Yes but the dogs have to be on a leash and you have to pick up after them. Also don't think they are allowed in the bird area.
