Despite having visited York on numerous occasions this was my first walk around the walls. Loved it! The information boards and signs were helpful to identify various locations.Full review by MerlinRalphie

In all cases the place where the wall restarts is clearly accessible and easy to find - there are maps available on line and the wall itself is well signposted. It would be a good idea to Google “map of York city wall” in my opinion the MediaGeographies one is ideal and easy to follow Enjoy the walk
