The drive through Cades Cove is beautiful! There are old houses and churches to walk through and places to stop and view the scenery and wildlife. We saw bears, turkeys and deer.Full review by 960wp

I personally do not know, but If you go to the Smokie Mountain National Park TN website, it should give you any kind of closing schedule.
