As already indicated no pre-booking is necessary but you may need to wait for an English speaking guide if he or she is doing a tour at the time but it is worth the wait. It's only 8 euros …
As already indicated no pre-booking is necessary but you may need to wait for an English speaking guide if he or she is doing a tour at the time but it is worth the wait. It's only 8 euros and a friend who saw them with me felt the tour was better than some of the others she had seen in Rome.

Could someone advise me as to whether it costs more to get a guided tour or whether you just pay an entrance fee and wait for a tour in your language? Also i see someone has mentioned it is closed during August - is that just the tour guides not taking place or you cannot enter at all? Any other tips would be great!
