It may last 45 minutes to an hour on the air. Plus the time they take you on the ship to where the hot air balloon will take off. After landing back on ship, there's a champagne toast and a short story telling from the pilot. There's some papework to fill out and sign in their office before all starts. That takes about 10-15 minutes until all passengers are done with this process.

I would give them a call about the 2.5 year old. They can accommodate 9 people. Up to 12 fit in the basket at a time.
