The views along the way are quite beautiful, but the mountain road to the park is a two lane (one lane each way), winding and very steep at times. I’ve heard those with RVs do not recommend bringing large RVs on that road and definitely nothing over 30 feet. Finding a place to turn around if you changed your mind wouldn’t be easy. I also think parking such a large vehicle may be a nightmare too. Definitely pack a lot of patience. Whatever you decide .. safe travels :)
What is the cost to get into the park and are small dogs allowed?

I have a national park pass, so I don't know the individual park cost to get in. no dogs allowed on the lower loop trail. you could walk them on the upper rim trail and parking lot area.

Hi and thanks for your question. It's not possible to take a stroller all the way down the Gown Trail, as parts of the trail are steep and narrow. Most visitors will leave the stroller at the top and walk down holding smaller children. The trail is 1/2-mile each way. We hope you enjoy your trip!
