This park is known for its cascading waterfalls and beautiful water. This park is great for fishing, but it is recommended that swimmers be weary of the dam, and waters of unknown depths due to possible deadly currents. Some of the nicest TN State Park cabins available are in this park, along with many camping sites. Picnicking and freestyle kayaking are also enjoyed at this park. More information on this park and many more can be found at the TN State Parks website.

I think you will be fine.. we saw people towing small boats to launch. We have a class B and no problems (not towing anything). I'd certainly check with the Ranger station.

My husband and i cannot walk far distances. Is there some falls or water to see from the car?

I can't walk much either. At Rock Island if you go in on Power House Road in Walling you can see the beautiful waterfalls of Rock Island.

Q:
how far awalk toget to thefalls
A:
The falls we saw were about a quarter mile of a walk. However, this walk includes steel stairs and then what I would describe as a steel plank with wooden steps to help keep you from sliding.
