The Horry County Police Department on Sunday reported a mass shooting in Little River. At least 11 people have been hospitalized. The investigation ongoing.

Shawon Shamarion Williams was arrested by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service and booked into the Lake County Jail north of Chicago.

The total number of victims could be higher, police said, after gunfire in the Little River beach town on Sunday.
