A Powerball player in Texas won $1 million, just missing the $147 million jackpot, lottery officials say. The ticket matched five winning numbers but not the Powerball in the drawing Wednesday, May 21, the Texas Lottery said. The winning ticket was sold at a Walmart store in McKinney, about a 30-mile drive northeast from Dallas, the lottery said.
