Michigan earned a huge 19-13 win against No. 11 Alabama in the ReliaQuest Bowl on Tuesday. The shorthanded Wolverines, who were down several key players due to both opt outs and the transfer portal, led wire-to-wire after taking advantage of numerous Alabama mistakes in the first quarter.

Alabama, the first team left out of the College Football Playoff, was favored by more than two touchdowns but was stymied on offense.

Frustration was the word of the day for Alabama fans, as the Crimson Tide fell, 19-13. They were upset with just about everything that happened in Tuesday's game.

Alabama had three turnovers in four plays at one point in the first quarter, in which Michigan gained possession inside the Crimson Tide 's 30-yard line each time. Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe threw an interception and fumbled twice in the first quarter, which ultimately was the difference on Tuesday.

Jalen Milroe fumbled on the first play of Alabama’s second possession and Michigan kicked a second field goal. Milroe was then picked off two plays into Alabama’s third drive and Michigan took over at the Alabama 16-yard line. Three plays later, Davis Warren hit Fredrick Moore for a 13-yard TD.
