OU softball will begin the Norman Super Regional of the NCAA Tournament at Love's Field. No. 2-seeded OU (48-7) will face No. 15 Alabama (40-21) at 4 p.m. CT Friday. It's the start of a best-of-three series with a trip to the Women's College World Series on the line.

With the loss, the No. 9 seed Bruins (52-11) face elimination in the best-of-three series for a berth in the Women’s College World Series.
