Officials with Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) said service on the Green Line will likely remain out of service through the Memorial Day holiday weekend, as crews continue to repair damage from Tuesday's fire in San Leandro.

BART's green line will be out of service at least through Memorial Day due to a fire at the San Leandro station earlier this week, officials announced Thursday. That means the route, which runs into The City and between Daly City and San Jose, will have been out of commission for at least a week.
