In a federal lawsuit, Blake Lively claimed that a mysterious Texas-based social media guru ran an untraceable smear campaign against her at the behest of Justin Baldoni. On Wednesday, a judge granted Jed Wallace's motion to dismiss himself as a defendant in the case.

On Monday, Judge Lewis J. Liman granted Lively's request in documents obtained and reviewed by Entertainment Weekly. Per the ruling, Lively may choose the space of her deposition but must make arrangements for Baldoni's legal team to have a dedicated computer and the ability to print and copy documents throughout.

Blake Lively has been granted a protective oder ahead of her deposition, which is set for July 17. Lively and Baldoni's trial is set for March 2026 in New York, and attorneys for both Lively and Baldoni have indicated that they plan to testify during the proceedings.
