INDEPENDENCE (AP) — Cavaliers guard Darius Garland had surgery Monday on the injured left big toe that hampered him during Cleveland’s exit from the playoffs.

According to Joe Vardon of The Athletic, Darius Garland could miss the Cleveland Cavaliers’ first 10 games of next season. Garland had surgery Monday to repair the left big toe injury that troubled him during the 2025 playoffs and is expected to miss four to five months.
