Authorities in northern Ohio announced they have recovered the body of a 5-year-old from the Sandusky River, raising to the death toll to three family members killed when they were struck by a train over the weekend.
The death toll of an Ohio train crash has risen to three after a 5-year-old child was found dead near the site of the collision. A 14-month-old child who was hospitalized in critical condition is reportedly the sole survivor.

Officials said it's not clear whether the train hit all four or whether some may have jumped or were thrown into the river to avoid the locomotive.
Fremont Mayor Danny Sanchez confirmed three dead and an infant rescued after a train struck pedestrians crossing the Miles Newton Bridge on Sunday.
The Sandusky County Sheriff said two women and a 5-year-old child died. A child pulled from the river was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
The fishing community in Fremont is still trying to come to terms with the tragedy that unfolded Sunday night. Some of them even witnessed the child’s body being recovered from the water Monday morning.
