Airports across the UK could be expanded, including the controversial third runway at Heathrow, under government growth plans. The Treasury is looking at whether to support a third runway at Heathrow, approve a second runway at Gatwick, and increase capacity at Luton airport.

EasyJet CEO Kenton Jarvis has expressed interest in expanding operations to London Heathrow Airport, saying the construction of a third runway would allow the LCC to operate from the UK’s largest gateway “at scale.”

Holidaymakers are being asked to travel either between London Victoria and East Grinstead for rail replacement bus connections to the airport. Attentively they can travel from London Victoria for a direct train service which will take a slightly longer but direct route.
