Kansas has lost three straight games at Iowa State’s Hilton Coliseum for the first time in the 22-year Bill Self era.

A pair of top 10 Big 12 teams meet up on Wednesday, Jan. 15 when the No. 2 Iowa State Cyclones host the No. 9 Kansas Jayhawks at Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa.

The Jayhawks could secure a monumental victory on Wednesday if they execute effectively and the game breaks in their favor.

The Kansas Jayhawks are on a winning streak and playing phenomenal defense, but that improvement will be put to the test tonight as they take on the Iowa State Cyclones up in Ames, IA. The offense has struggled though,

"Hilton Magic" got to the Jayhawks as Iowa State controlled the game the whole way en route to a beatdown in Ames on Wednesday.

This is a clash between an elite Kansas Jayhawks defense and a high-powered Iowa State Cyclones offense that averages 86.2 points per game. That said, Iowa State is excellent on the other end of the floor as well and is 10th in the country in adjusted defensive efficiency, just six spots behind Kansas.
