KFC is bringing back fan-favorite menu options after ‘thousands of social media comments and petition signatures,’ the company says.

First introduced in the mid-1990s, KFC’s thick-cut Potato Wedges became a menu item favorite, earning what the company described as a “cult status in the late 1990s and early 2000s.” The company discontinued the wedges in 2020, much to fans’ displeasure.

KFC is bringing back its beloved potato wedges nationwide starting August 18 after a five-year absence. Hot & Spicy Wings, featuring a bold marinade and double hand-breading for extra crunch, are also returning. Both items are available for a limited time, with prices and availability varying by location.
