Police in La Crosse, Wisconsin, are searching for a woman who went missing near the Mississippi River in the early morning hours on Sunday.

La Crosse Police Department have reported that the body of Eliotte Heinz was recovered in the Mississippi River near Brownsville, Minnesota.

An air quality alert was issued by the National Weather Service in La Crosse at 2:08 p.m. on Thursday, July 24.
