The Los Angeles Dodgers list of pitching injuries is a mile long, and MLB insider Jeff Passan believes they could reunite with one of their former pitchers.

New York had won its last seven series until the Dodgers snapped that streak. Still, the Yankees came out of its West Coast road trip with a 6-3 record, with series wins over the Los Angeles Angels and Colorado Rockies to get back on track ahead of a six-game homestand against the Cleveland Guardians and the Boston Red Sox.

The highly anticipated series starts Friday night at Dodger Stadium and will feature three games between the teams who faced off in last year's Fall Classic. Starting Friday at 7:30 p.m., the Dodgers (34-22) will look to snap out of a disappointing stretch over the last 10 games, where they've gone just 5-5.
