Ten days before start of the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season, officials at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration announced their forecast for how many tropical storms and hurricanes to expect this year.

NOAA is predicting between 13 and 19 named storms in 2025, making it an above-average season.

But the country's steak exports are now sliding as costs rise on a stronger local peso.
