However, the Irish lost two significant starters to the transfer portal on Thursday. Offensive lineman Rocco Spindler is testing the market. And Per On3's Pete Nakos, interior offensive lineman Pat Coogan is set to enter the transfer portal.

On Wednesday, the Irish saw three players enter the portal, offensive lineman Sam Pendleton, and a pair of wide receivers in Deion Colzie and Jayden Thomas.
