Juniper Riviera County Water District officials have warned residents of possible water contamination in the Ranch Fire area near Apple Valley.

A wildfire that ignited on Tuesday afternoon, June 10, south of Apple Valley spread across 4,205 acres, threatening homes and prompting mandatory evacuations in parts of the San Bernardino County High Desert, Cal Fire said.
