According to Glazer, who is the best friend of Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, Wilson will likely be gone from the Steelers' organization. Glazer also does not expect Wilson to land with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Wilson did not play particularly well at the end of the 2024 season as the Steelers endured a five-game losing streak.
