More than 47,000 customers were without power Monday morning after severe thunderstorms drenched much of North Texas overnight. Power outages peaked overnight around 90,000, according to Oncor’s outage map.

Downed power lines were strung across roadways, and roofs were torn off as storms moved through Palo Pinto County. Oncor said nearly 50,000 customers were impacted by power outages early Monday, June 9.
