Not to point too fine a point on things, but "We Live in Time" is at its most poignant and powerful whenever it forces its characters to take stock of their place in the fourth dimension.

To illustrate the route taken by Marco Polo’s caravan and to mark the passage of time, a map was shown on screen accompanied by a voice-over by Mark Eden as Polo, describing the journey.
