Tolkien illustrator ALAN LEE swapped Dartmoor for a posting in New Zealand as conceptual designer on Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy.

RENOWNED artist Alan Lee is to visit Waterstones in Oxford to sign copies of The Fall of Gondolin by JRR Tolkien. Mr Lee will be at the store in Broad Street on Friday, August 31 at 7pm.
