Some of them still figure to be worn by the patrons at Honda Center next season and maybe beyond, but Trevor Zegras will no longer be on the ice for the Ducks, with general manager Pat Verbeek completing on Monday the trade that had been speculated, rumored, discussed, dreaded and maybe even fantasized about for many months, perhaps years.

The Ducks have traded Trevor Zegras to the Flyers, the teams announced on Monday. In return for the 24-year-old forward, Anaheim has received center Ryan Poehling, the 45th overall pick in this year’s draft and a fourth-round pick in the 2026 draft.
