Many of the works in Warp & Weft dig into those connections while showcasing how contemporary artists are using both ancient and cutting-edge techniques to tell new stories.

The Shepherd (1265 Parkview St.) will host an opening reception and talk for “Warp and Weft” from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25. The exhibition is free to view, and on display through May 3.
