The bird perches on a tree branch and it’s only a silhouette, so it’s hard to determine weather its a bald eagle or a golden. Golden eagles also take up territory on the lake during the winter.

While the Valley is home to a collection of parks and nature preserves that make for good bird watching year-round, there are some species of birds that can only be found in Ohio during the winter.
