The Return of the King is getting a standalone 4K Blu-ray Steelbook Edition in October, and preorders are available now.

The first book in the Lord of the Rings trilogy begins 60 years after the events of The Hobbit, with Bilbo celebrating his 111th birthday (although much of the action takes place 17 years after that).
