Casey was first elected as the district attorney of Blount County back in 2010 at the age of 29, making history as Alabama's youngest female district attorney. She has been re-elected twice.

She's also the youngest female ever elected as a district attorney in Alabama. It surprised most everyone. Everyone, that is, but Casey. To her, Blount County is where she belongs. It's home.
