Micah Parsons confirmed that he would attend the Dallas Cowboys training camp in Oxnard, California in August, even if he and the team do not come to terms on a new deal.

Parsons' penultimate sentence -- "But it's in the owner's hands." -- is noteworthy. He's entering the fifth year of his rookie deal, which will pay him just over $24 million in 2025.

Another change for Parsons — one that should help him play a more hybrid role — is his weight. He’s at 240, losing 10 pounds to get back to his weight when he played at Penn State.

Ahead of the start of camp, Parsons vowed to show up for minicamp, noting he has yet to miss one during his NFL career, and he is following through on that promise.

Parsons is entering the fifth year of his rookie deal signed after the 2021 NFL Draft. Because of his career performance so far, he's currently set to make $24 million in 2025, all fully guaranteed.
