Two-time French Open finalist Casper Ruud has dropped 13 of the last 14 games and lost 2-6, 6-4, 6-1, 6-0 to Nino Borges in the second round at Roland-Garros while bothered by a bad left knee.

Two-time runner-up Casper Ruud became the biggest causality of the French Open so far as the seventh seed was knocked out by Nuno Borges. Ruud struggled with an injury and won just one game in the final two sets as Borges progressed to the third round with a 2-6 6-4 6-1 6-0 win.

Norway's Casper Ruud, the French Open runner-up in 2022 and 2023, crashed out of the tournament in the second round on Wednesday after losing 2-6 6-4 6-1 6-0 to the unseeded Nuno Borges of Portugal.
