CoreCivic could be one of the biggest beneficiaries of new federal contracts under President Trump. CBS News took a look at safety records at its prisons in Tennessee.

The Tennessee Department of Correction is reviewing its options for the facility, according to a statement. The DOC did not say how it would affect other facilities CoreCivic operated for the state.

Jeff Noland was incarcerated for 10 years at South Central Correctional Facility, a CoreCivic operated prison in Clifton, Tennessee. He was released in 2020 and now works at a Nashville grocery store.
