Thursday was a big day for fourth-ranked Oxford’s pitching staff. Peyton Watts and Hayden Gallahar combined for a no-hitter in a 14-0 victory over Whitesburg Christian in Choccolocco Park.

As Oxford continues to surge as the top-ranked baseball team in Class 6A, the Yellow Jackets have seen signs of a breakout from one of the members of their pitching staff in recent games.
