While the franchise got its start in 1993, it wasn’t till the 2016 reboot that DOOM found its footing in the modern era, putting itself up there with the campaigns of Call of Duty and other shooters.

The DOOM Slayer has been activated in the new opening cinematic for DOOM: The Dark Ages, giving us a teaser of the upcoming blood-soaked story.
