OOTY: After months of delay and anticipation, the Karnataka Siri Horticulture Garden was finally thrown open at Fern Hills amidst the hilly landscape .

A stretch of the State Highways located in Udhagamandalam town connecting the Ooty Bus Stand with the Fern Hill Junction poses a number of hazards to motorists, complain local residents.

R Suresh Babu, secretary in-charge of the Nilgiris Market Committee, said the works for the joint venture commenced three months ago and the building renovation work will be completed next month.
