A Black girl, 10, was arrested after her drawing left a parent "very upset," local news reported. The girl was taken into custody without her mom, according to an ACLU letter the outlet obtained.

“We don’t want it to be about the drawing,” attorney Caballero said. “This is about a 10-year-old Black girl who was arrested and there was no reason to believe that she was violent.
