GONZALES, LA (WAFB) - Folks in Gonzales are about to notice a new face hopping around the city. It’s the new mascot, designed by an 8th grader at Prairieville Middle School.

At Gonzales Middle School, 15% of students scored at or above the proficient level for math, and 34% scored at or above that level for reading. The school’s minority student enrollment is 87%.
