DARIEN — Ever since she was a freshman, Darien High School student Aaliyah Durango said she wanted to go to a homecoming dance. “I always really wondered why we didn't have one,” she said.

As class president, it's Loftsgaarden's responsibility to plan the homecoming dance. On Saturday morning, she had to go to her high school to clean up everything she had put together for the dance.

Beaver Dam High School is celebrating Homecoming this ... parade and the big game on Friday followed by the Homecoming dance on Saturday. Students have had dress-up days all this week.
