The Kids Safe Online poster contest is open students in kindergarten through 12th grade from any public school, private school or youth group in Virginia. The deadline for entry is Jan. 8.

Central High students benefitted from a rap session and an Internet Safety Poster competition, which provided a creative avenue for them to express their ideas on online safety and its advantages.

At the event sponsored by Sprint, community members, staff and club members had the opportunity to vote for the poster contest winners. More than 300 attended, including 190 Boys & Girls Club members.
